The Historic Sports Car Club is delighted to present the Brands Hatch \u201cYou\u2019re a Diamond\u201d Award to Sue Bateman in recognition of her many years of outstanding dedication and service as Chief Scrutineer. Sue has been a constant and reassuring presence in the paddock for many years. Her knowledge, professionalism and approachable manner have earned the respect of everyone who has the pleasure of working with her.<\/p>\n
While much of her work takes place quietly behind the scenes, the Scrutineer plays one of the most important roles in motorsport, ensuring every car is safe, compliant and fit to race. Sue has carried out that responsibility with exceptional care, fairness and professionalism throughout her time with the Club. For Sue, the safety of our competitors, officials and volunteers has always been her highest priority.<\/p>\n
Her meticulous attention to detail, calm approach and unwavering commitment help ensure that everyone can enjoy our sport with confidence.
